1. What are the minimum requirements for applying for BDS course?
Eligibility in NEET – UG candidates should be wards of serving & retired Army personnel or Students of Telangana state.
2. How selection is done?
The admission is done strictly based on UG NEET merit ranking, based on marks obtained in NEET UG.
3. Selection procedure for BDS and MDS course?
BDS:
Candidates have to register online in KNR UHS website (www.knruhs.in) by paying required Registration Fee for attending the Counselling Session for admission to ACDS for 34 seats under Category B Management seats. After successful Registration, the candidate will be automatically issued an online Acknowledgement Form with Registration Number by the University. All candidates who receive Registration Number from KNR UHS should forward the scanned copy of following documents online to ACDS for verification of the same from the issuing authority
MDS:
Candidates have to register online in KNR UHS website (www.knruhs.in) by paying required Registration Fee for attending the Counselling Session for admission to ACDS under Category B Management seats. After successful Registration, the candidate will be issued online Acknowledgement Form with Registration Number by University. All candidates who receive Registration Number from KNR UHS should forward scanned copy of following documents online to ACDS for verification of the same from the issuing authority

5. Is the ACDS College NAAC Accredited?
Yes, ACDS is a NAAC Accredited Grade “A” Institution
6. Can I depute someone as a nominee for counselling if I am not able to travel/come down?
No, candidate has to be physically present at the time of counselling.
7. Should I need to pay the admission/tuition fee at the time of counselling/admission?
Yes, fees must be paid according to the payment schedule.
8. Is there any facility for payment of fees in instalment?
Yes, the facility of fee payment in instalments is available.
9. Will I get hostel allotment at the time of admission?
Yes, candidates are allotted accommodation upon admission.
10. Does the college has transport facility?
Yes, basic transport facilities to and from classes, health camps, conferences etc. are provided.
11. Are there any extracurricular activities, events, promoted/facility available at ACDS?
Yes, ACDS encourages many extracurricular activities.
12. Will I get a total refund, if I withdraw my admission?
Yes, if withdrawn before the last day of admission.
13. What are the documents required while attending the counselling?
BDS:
(a) Registration Acknowledgment Sheet received online from KNR UHS.
(b) NEETUG 2020 Rank Card
(c) Certificate 1 to 4 as given in ACDS BDS Prospectus-2020 as applicable only.
(d) Copy of Ex-serviceman Identity card, discharge book, PPO, Part II order and ECHS card of the candidate along with certificate as per ACDS BDS Prospectus-2020 duly signed by ZillaSainik Welfare Officer.
(e) Copy of serving certificate, dependency certificate.
(f) Copy of all certificates as per Para 23 of ACDS BDS Prospectus-2020.
(g)Alternate E mail id & two Contact Mobile numbers with names (preferably one of the Candidate and second one of the parents)

MDS:
(a) Registration Acknowledgment Sheet
(b) NEET Rank Card
(c) Certificate 1 to 3 & 5 to 8 as applicable only (as per Para 10 of ACDS MDS Prospectus 2020)
(d) Copy of Ex-servicemen Identity card, discharge book, PPO, Part II order and ECHS card of the candidate along with certificate as per ACDS MDS Prospectus duly signed by ZillaSainik Welfare Officer.
(e) Copy of serving certificate, dependency certificate. (f) Copy of all certificates as per Para 22 of ACDS MDS Prospectus-2020
(f ) Alternate E mail id & two Contact Mobile numbers with names(preferably one of the Candidate and second of one parent)

14. Does the college run post graduate course?
Yes. There are post- graduate seats in 6 clinical specialities- Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics (3 seats each per year); Orthodontics, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2 seats each per year).
15. Is the institute private or government?
ACDS is a private institute.
16. Does the college have an attached hospital?
ACDS is attached with Military Hospital Secunderabad.
17. Do the student of BDS graduating batch get preference for MDS course at ACDS?
No, admission to MDS course is strictly based on merit obtained in NEET MDS and eligibility criteria.
18. What are the different specialities in which I can pursue MDS at ACDS?
There are post- graduate seats in 6 clinical specialities- Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics (3 seats each per year); Orthodontics, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2 seats each per year).
19. How many seats are there for BDS and MDS course?
BDS- 40 seats per year
MDS- 15 seats per year
20. Is this college is exclusively for Army sons or daughters?
Yes, dependent wards of serving or retired Army personnel.
21. Is there any quota/seats in ADC (Army Dental Corps) after completion of the course?
No.
22. An applicant who is not having any Army background, can apply for ACDS?
Students from Telangana state are eligible for 20% BDS and MDS seats.
23. Is there any direct placement after completion of the course from ACDS?
No.
