THE MINUTES OF IQAC MEETING HELD ON APRIL 6TH, 2020

1. Strategies were discussed to cope with pandemic COVID-19 by online teaching for students and intensive training.
2. Steps were discussed for preparation of NAAC.
3. Discussion regarding setting up of a separate department of Implantology.
4. Procurement of Intra oral scanner (Medit I 500) to be used by all departments.
5. Yoga Day will be celebrated at homes on june 21st, 2020 in the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
6. Details of awards of recognition for excellence in teaching for last 5 years of the faculty were asked to be documented for the future reference purposes.
7. Discussions on Digital dental project were done for establishing it in the college.
8. E-training program for the faculty to be held on June 25th, 2020.

THE MINUTES OF IQAC MEETING HELD ON DEC 4TH, 2019

1. Discussion held regarding the OPD and ECHS patients handling.
2. Procurement of dental equipments.
3. Procurement of International dental journal for the year 2020.
4. International guest lecture and demonstration workshop on Implantology by Prof. Dr. Anam Chandrashekhar and Mr. Andreas Hebamoda on Dec 12th, 2019 at 1130 hrs.
5. For converting hydraulic dental chairs to electrical dental chairs, market survey was carried out.
6. Discussion for improvement in functioning of hostel and safety, security and welfare of students.
7. Local purchase committee was organized for the market survey and purchase of all stores required by college for maintenance of infrastructure.
8. Guest lecture program on â€œGender Sesitizationâ€ organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry on Dec 11th , 2019 from 1400 hrs- 1500 hrs.
9. Rapid revision program to be, organized by Department of Pedodontics and Preventive dentistry and held on 6th-7th March, 2020.

1. Inter-departmental seminar by Departments of Orthodontics, Pedodontics and Conservative dentistry and Endodontics on July 9th, 2019 at 0930 hrs.
2. Career guidance lecture by Dr. (Col) Mahendra Azad, CEO Clove Dental South India on July 4th, 2019 at 1000 hrs.
3. Discussion on Post graduate education program by Department Of Periodontics.
4. Proposals were invited for the department audit and research activity fro Head of the Departments.
5. Oral health care and awareness on â€œModern Oral Hygiene Aidsâ€, screening campus to be conducted by Department of Pedodontics on August 1st, 2019 at 0930 hrs â€“ 1030 hrs.
6. Lecture by Dr. Harish Tennati (MDS, OMFS), President ACDS Alumni association will be delivered on July 12th, 2019.
7. Preparations to be carried out for the inspection visit to the college by Maj. Gen. NK Sahoo, Comdt CMDS (SC) and Comd Dental Advisor (SC), Pune on July 30th, 2019 at 1045 hrs â€“ 1145 hrs.
